Fernery is located in front of the Botany laboratory which houses many fern species collected from different places. Studying ferns is an important component of the course, Diversity of Plants (BYU3500) and the idea of maintaining a fernery is important for students who are offering the course Horticulture (BYU5609). Further, this fernery has been developed for conservation of fern species and to create awareness about their ecological role.
