Ms. Pamoda Wettewa is a Lecturer (on contract) at the Post Graduate Institute of English (PGIE), The Open University of Sri Lanka. She completed her MA in English at North Carolina State University, USA and BA (Hons) in English at University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. She has nearly five years of work experience in undergraduate teaching and research, having taught English language and literary studies at the Department of English, University of Peradeniya and intensive English courses at English Language Teaching Units, University of Peradeniya. Ms. Wettewa also planned and taught courses related to First-Year Composition and Academic Writing at North Carolina State University and North Carolina Agricultural and Technological State University, USA.

Postcolonial Literature, Critical Theory, French language and literature and research areas that probe into questions of identity formation, nation-building and marginalized communities, and diasporic literature that explore liminal experiences of migrant communities from diverse sociopolitical and cultural backgrounds.
