The Public Information Division (PID) serves as the primary contact point for inquiries about the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL). It facilitates communication between the university and the public by providing accurate and timely information about academic programs, admissions, and university services.

The division is led by Acting Director Mr. K.P. Nishantha and operates during office hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
