We welcome you to the Post Graduate Diploma in Education Programme. The primary goal of this programme is to provide professional training to graduate teachers and other graduates who are in the field of Education.
This is 36 credit programme offered to graduates of recognized universities who are in the education service or those with equivalent qualifications acceptable to the Senate of the OUSL. The main objective of this programme is to provide professional training to graduate teachers in the school system.
This programme consists of twelve (12) courses: eight (8) compulsory courses, two (02) courses to be selected out of six (06) optional courses, and Teaching Practice.
The OUSL has decided to enroll all the applicants into the PGDE 2024/25 programme without conducting a selection test. All applicants will be informed regarding the programme registration dates to come and register to the programme.
