Doctor of Philosophy in Education

A master of Philosophy degree in the field of Education

Master of Philosophy in Education

A master’s degree in the field of education at SLQF 9 or above preferably in the field of education with a significant research component.

Specific Admission Requirements of the Faculty of Education

All candidates should successfully complete the short course in Research methodology in Education conducted by the Faculty of Education (Except those who possess two years Master with a research component of 18 course credits prior to registration of the programme)

Candidates should submit a duly filled application from along with copies of birth certificate, National Identity Card and highest academic qualifications

Copy of certificate of successful completion of a short course in Research methodology of education
