Bachelor of Industrial Studies Honours (BIS)– Apparel Production and Management

The Bachelor of Industrial Studies – Apparel Production and Management program is a four year degree program and is designed to provide a wider theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of garment industry and manufacturing process. This program is ideal for employees engaged in the area of apparel manufacturing sector without a formal theoretical knowledge about the process. This degree program is also suitable for those who are interested to develop their creative ideas as garment products leading to self-employment as garment manufacture or small scale garment manufacturer.

Objectives of the program

• The employees who are already in the apparel industry with lack of theoretical wider knowledge of industrial garment production process.
• This program is ideal for a person who has a deep interest to build a self– employment related to the apparel fields or to establish a small scale garment factory.
• This program provides an opportunity to enter to the job market in the field of apparel industry at middle level management.

Program duration: Minimum 4 years for applicants entering with A/L qualification, however depending on your available time and capabilities, it is possible to spread over a longer duration.

Applicants entering with higher qualification such as two year diploma or NDT in the relevant field are able to finish within minimum of two years period. Further Details:
