															The Bachelor of Industrial Studies – Apparel Production and Management program is a four year degree program and is designed to provide a wider theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of garment industry and manufacturing process. This program is ideal for employees engaged in the area of apparel manufacturing sector without a formal theoretical knowledge about the process. This degree program is also suitable for those who are interested to develop their creative ideas as garment products leading to self-employment as garment manufacture or small scale garment manufacturer.
Objectives of the program
Program duration: Minimum 4 years for applicants entering with A/L qualification, however depending on your available time and capabilities, it is possible to spread over a longer duration.
Applicants entering with higher qualification such as two year diploma or NDT in the relevant field are able to finish within minimum of two years period. Further Details:
Teaching mode: Distance mode, limited face to face sessions with interactive learning sessions, laboratory work, printed course material

Programme Learning Outcomes (PLO’s)
After completing prescribed courses and training, the graduates of relevant Industrial Studies disciplines will be able to achieve the following outcomes.
