Rejuvenating the medicinal garden

Botsoc rejuvenated the medicinal garden of the university premises with a lot of new different medicinal plants. Preserving the natural beauty of Sri Lankan leopard

Dr. Saminda Fernando, exhibiting his outstanding expertise in Taxidermy, was able to preserve a nice specimen of Sri Lankan leopard, with his team at the Department of Zoology. The dead specimen was obtained through the Department of Wildlife Conservation, Sri Lanka after an accidental death of the leopard due to illegal trapping.
