Mr.W.M.S. Weerakoon is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Secondary & Tertiary Education, Faculty of Education at the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL). Currently, he is working as the Head of the Department, Department of Educational Leadership and Management, Faculty of Education, OUSL since 2023.  He has been an academic at OUSL since 2012. Before that, He gained 7 years of experience as a graduate teacher of Economics in the secondary school system in Sri Lanka. His key research focus areas are Educational Management and Administration and Educational Leadership.
