I am sunil Weerakoon and I hold an honors degree in Bachelor of Education (1st Class) from University of Colombo in 2004. After completing my first degree I have being working as teacher for seven years at the leading National school. I obtained M.Ed in Educational Management at University of Colombo 2010. I have been a permanent academic member of the Department of Secondary and Tertiary Education of the Faculty of education, OUSL since 2012 to upto date . I lecture in various programe (PGDE, B.Ed (D&T, M.ED) in the Faculty of Education. I coordinated CA component of PGDE progrmme from 2013-2018. I completed my M.Phil degree in 2016 at University of Colombo. Curruntly I am coordinating PGDE ( Post Graduate Diploma in Educationj) programme ( Sinhal Medium) in the Department of Seconday & Tertiary Education.

I would like to provide students with a positive and enjoyable learning environment in which they can acquire skills and knowledge that will assist them in their future careers.
