The University generously provides pristine, filtered drinking water to all members of its community as a complimentary service, sourced directly from the National Water Supply and Drainage Board, Sri Lanka. Ensuring the safety and quality of this water is a priority, and regular testing is conducted by the Public Health Inspector (PHI) as part of their duties. The water is routinely monitored for microbial and chemical contaminants, including bacteria, heavy metals, and other potential pollutants, to ensure it remains consistently within the allowable limits set by national standards. These rigorous quality checks help prevent contamination and safeguard the health of students, staff, and visitors, ensuring that the water provided is safe, clean, and suitable for consumption at all times.
