he Medicinal Garden is located in the vicinity of the Science and Technology building. Medicinal plants are an important component of the third-year course, “Plants and Man” (BYU5303). Identification of the types of metabolites and active compounds present in medicinal plants is a part of the course, Advanced Plant Physiology and Biochemistry (BYU6307). In addition, identification of medicinal plants is important in day-to-day life, since medicinal plants contain a variety of active compounds which can be used in medicinal purposes.
