Bandarawela Study Centre

The study centre of the Open University of Sri Lanka situated in Bandarawela has been established with a view to extending its services to Badulla district of the Uva province. The Study centre has started its operations on 1990.Though the centre is in its growing stage; within past 4 years period it has shown remarkable achievements also.  

Bandarawela study centre is in the process of promoting and presenting the OUSL brand while attending to all promotional related activities pertaining to the programmes conducted namely foundation, Certificates, Diploma, Degree and Post graduate levels and short courses (Computer Literacy / Listening and speech in English /HRM etc). Nearly 1300 hundred students are studying all the programme which have delivered by the 6 faculties at Bandarawela Study centre. We are researching and finding some higher education requirements and provide for the region different type.

 In addition to that all activities related Assignments, CAT Exam & Revision test, Lab classes, Lab test, Final examination, and Practical sessions are conducted by Bandarawela study centre. There is a computer lab with 20 machines, 2 lecture halls to accommodate 50 students, a Library and a guest house which is 4 rooms with all facilities and good environment.

All together no. of 08 employers are working at the study Centre. The Assistant Director is here while the Senior Staff Assistant, Works aid, Teparory Demonstrator, Academic Coordinator, Project Assistant and 2 Operation assistant.
