The mission of the CQA is to establish and implement monitoring mechanisms to maintain quality standards in all academic and operational activities, so as to ensure learners get the best out of the higher educational programmes, offered through Open Distance learning.
CQA initiates and implement mechanisms to maintain and enhance quality of all operational activities within the Open University of Sri Lanka with the ultimate aim of having quality undergraduate, postgraduate, professional development courses and programmes of study of relevance to the needs of the society offered through Open Distance Learning.
