OUSL Delegation Strengthens Ties with China through New MoU and Agreement

A distinguished delegation from The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL), led by Vice Chancellor Prof. P.M. C. Thilakarathna, Prof. Sunil De Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Ms. W.L. Vindya Jayasena, the Registrar and Dr. Anura Wickramasinghe, the Bursar completed a successful visit to China from August 10 to 18, 2024.

The highlight of the visit was attaining a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a comprehensive agreement with Tomorrow Technology Education Service Center (TTESC), China on August 13, 2024. This new partnership aims to promote and enhance the Master of Nursing degree program offered by OUSL for students from China.

The MoU and agreement reflect a strategic effort by OUSL to expand its international footprint and provide Chinese students with access to its renowned Master of Nursing program. This initiative is expected to foster greater academic exchange and collaboration between Sri Lankan and Chinese institutions.
