Practical Skills in Molecular Biology and Gene Technology

• At least a pass grade (S) for biology subject at the G.C.E (A/L) in the biological science stream. OR
• At least a pass grade (S) for the biosystem technology subject at the G.C.E (A/L) in the technology stream. OR
• Lateral entry for employees with a minimum of one year of work experience in molecular biology and/or gene technology laboratories will also be considered subject to their performance in a selection test.
• At least a pass grade for biology subject in the Advanced Certificate in Science (ACS) offered by the Open University of Sri Lanka or a pass at any other examination is considered equivalent to the biology pass at G.C.E (A/L). OR
