Ms. Thushini Thewahettige is a Lecturer (on contract) in the Department of Legal Studies at The Open University of Sri Lanka. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a Second-Class Upper Division from The Open University of Sri Lanka and has completed a Master of Laws (LLM) with a Merit Pass from the University of Colombo. She also holds a Diploma in International Relations (Merit) from BCIS and has been admitted to the Bar as an Attorney-at-Law.Currently, she is pursuing an MPhil in Law and is also undertaking a Diploma in Forensic Medicine and Science at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.
