Eng. S.G.S.S. De Jayathunga is a Civil Engineer specializing in coastal and river engineering, with expertise in hydrology and numerical modelling. His work focuses on coastal processes, shoreline management, and river–estuary dynamics, applying advanced simulation techniques to address real-world engineering challenges. He is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) and a Committee Member of Section C of the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS).
