Dr.(Eng.) A.M.L.N. Gunathilaka earned his Bachelor of Science of Engineering degree with a First class in 2004 from University of Moratuwa. He completed his Master of Engineering (Structural Engineering Designs) and PhD from same university in 2009 and 2020 respectively.

He has more than 17 years of industrial experience in civil and structural engineering disciplines. Dr. (Eng.) A.M.L.N. Gunathilaka has done various research too while practicing as an engineer and he is having more than fifteen(15) international and local publications.

Dr.(Eng.) A.M.L.N.Gunathilakais a Chartered Engineer of both Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka and Society of Structural Engineers, Sri Lanka. He is an Associate professional of Green building Council of Sri Lanka as well.Further, he isa qualified engineer to certify designs of High-rise building (up to any number of floors) in UDA with his experience in high rise building design and other civil engineering designs and constructions.
