Postgraduate Diploma in Bilingual Education

This is the only Bilingual Education postgraduate qualification available in Sri Lanka and has been tailor-made to suit the requirements of Bilingual Education in the Sri Lankan context. The Ministry of Education may sponsor the total course fee for 40 applicants serving in the public school system.

Admission

Entry Requirements

A person seeking admission to the program leading to the award of the Postgraduate Diploma in Bilingual Education should have
	A Bachelor’s degree at SLQF Level 5 or above from a recognized university OR A professional qualification equivalent to NVQ Level 07 obtained from an institute recognized by the University Grants Commission or the Ministry of Higher Education OR An equivalent or higher qualification acceptable to the Senate of the Open University of Sri Lanka

AND

A minimum of one-year experience related to Bilingual Education (teaching content subjects in English – Hard CLIL)

Pass the selection procedures
