A Tree Planting Programme was conducted by the MSc in Environment Science 2016/17 Batch on 12 th August 2017 at Kahathuduwa Expressway Entrance with the collaboration of Road Development Authority (RDA). The Plants recommended by the RDA was Kumbuk (Terminalia arjuna) and Magul Karanda (Pougamia piñata). The Plants were purchased from the Department of Forestry Nursery at Battaramulla.
