The Entrepreneurship Development and Consultancy Unit (EDCU) of the Faculty of Management Studies at The Open University of Sri Lanka participated in a workshop titled “Creative Thinking and Entrepreneurship among School Students” on September 24, 2025. Organized by the Entrepreneurship Circle of Rathnavali Balika Vidyalaya, Gampaha, Dr. Janaka Heenkenda represented EDCU as the resource person.
The workshop aimed to inspire school students by enhancing their creative thinking and entrepreneurial skills in alignment with the National Educational Reforms. Through interactive discussions, participants learned to identify opportunities and apply innovative principles in real-life scenarios. This initiative highlights EDCU’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurial awareness and innovation among the younger generation.
