I am currently serving as a Senior Lecturer (Grade II) in the Department of Physics at the Open University of Sri Lanka (since 2022). I earned my B.Sc. Special Degree in Physics from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and subsequently completed my M.Phil. at the University of Peradeniya. Previously, I served as a Lecturer at the University College, University of Vocational Technology, Ratmalana (2014–2021). My earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant in the Physical and Computational Sciences Division at the National Institute of Fundamental Studies (NIFS) in Kandy (2010–2014), and beginning my academic career as a Demonstrator in the Department of Physics at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura’s Faculty of Applied Sciences (2009–2010)
