Dr. (Mrs.) Vajira Manjarie De Silva is the Dean of the Faculty of Education of the Open University of Sri Lanka. She is a senior lecturer in the Department of Secondary and Tertiary Education Faculty of Education. Dr. (Mrs.) De Silva holds a Degree of Bachelor of Science from the Open University of Sri Lanka in 1994. She obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the same university with a merit pass in 1996. She received her Master’s Degree in Education from the Open University of Sri Lanka in 2008. She undertook her doctoral studies at the University of Colombo and received her Doctor of Education degree in 2018. Her areas of expertise include Educational Psychology and Educational Technology.
