Sandya Hewameealla is a Senior Lecturer (Grade I) in the Department of Legal Studies. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Colombo. She obtained her LLM (Master of Laws) from NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, India, and her LLB (Second Class Honours, Upper Division) from the Open University of Sri Lanka. She is also an Attorney-at-Law.
