Bachelor of Technology (Hons) (Engineering) in Electronic and Communications, Open University of Sri Lanka 2012. Worked for Ceylon Electricity Board as an Electrical Superintendent in year 2012. Joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering as a Demonstrator in 2013. Started working as a Temporary Lecturer in 2014. After serving for more than 4 years in the capacity of Temporary lecturer, Re-joined the same department as a Lecturer (Probationary) in July 2018. Completed Master of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at University of Peradeniya in 2021. After the completion of Certificate of Teaching in Higher Education (CTHE) conducted by OUSL in 2022, confirmed in the post of lecturer. He was promoted to the post of senior lecturer in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with effect from July 2023.

Other than regular teaching and research, he’s interested and working on educational video production and multimedia lesson material development.
