ACT 4U – the Drama Association of the Faculty of Education
ACT 4U has continued to serve as a dynamic platform for creativity, cultural engagement, and holistic student development within the OUSL. Through carefully designed academic, artistic, and community-oriented initiatives, the association has advanced its mission to promote the performing arts while fostering leadership, inclusivity, and social responsibility among students. Central to these achievements has been the active participation of Bachelor of Education Honours in Drama and Theatre degree students, whose creativity, discipline, and leadership underpinned the planning and execution of each initiative. Their involvement ensured ACT 4U remained both student-centered and socially responsive.
In recognition of sustained contributions, ACT 4U received the Vice-Chancellor’s Commendation for 2025—the second time the association earned this honour, following the 2024 award. This accomplishment reflects the concerted efforts of academic leadership, executive members, and students. It affirms ACT 4U’s role as a model of artistic excellence, community engagement, and educational innovation within the Faculty of Education.
