Eng.(Mrs.) C.S. Weliwita

I received my first degree Bachelor of Science of Engineering, from University of Peradeniya Specialized in Computer Engineering in 2007. I have completed Master of Philosophy of Engineering in 2016 for a thesis titled as “Performance and Security evaluation of authentication and encryption in 4G-LTE – A backhaul enhancement with HIP” at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya.
I have joined The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) in 2009 as a probationary lecturer at the department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Before joining OUSL I have served as an instructor at the University of Moratuwa and Software engineer at the Virtusa (Pvt) Ltd. I am an associate member of IESL. I have experience in Software Designing, development and testing. My current research interests are on Computer Music, cognitive impact of music, positive psychology and image processing. I am also interested in mobile communication, cryptography and networking.
