The law students of the Kandy Regional Centre of the Open University of Sri Lanka proudly organized Kokilaw Nada 2025, a vibrant New Year festival held on 18 April 2025. The event celebrated the rich cultural traditions of the Sinhala and Hindu New Year and brought together students from other regional centres, along with academic staff from the Department of Legal Studies.
The festival featured traditional games, cultural performances, and customary rituals, reflecting the unity in diversity of Sri Lanka’s heritage. Kokillaw Nada 2025 not only fostered community spirit among law students but also showcased their commitment to preserving and promoting national traditions.
