The undergraduate research project “Thermo Mechanical Analysis of Ancient Stupas in Sri Lanka” conducted and presented by Ms. D.D.H.K. Kulasiri under the supervision of Dr. P.A. Kamal Karunanda of the Department, has been honored as the Best Scientific Paper in the special session on Climate Risk Management and Mitigation at the 15th International Conference on Sustainable Built Environment (ICSBE) 2024. The conference was held from December 20th to 22nd, 2024, at Earls Regency Hotel, Kandy, Sri Lanka. This recognition underscores the studý’s valuable contribution to sustainable heritage conservation and climate resilience.
