The Annual Awards Ceremony -2023 of the Open University of Sri Lanka was held at the Auditorium of the Jaffna Regional Centre on 17th of June 2023 at 10 am. The Prof.S.Kannathasan, Acting Vice Chancellor, University of Jaffna graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony was chaired by Prof.Anton Piyarathne,Dean,Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences,OUSL and S.M.Saman Bandulasena,Chief Secretary,Northern Provincial Council participated as Guest Honour.
Pongal Celebration at JRC
We have conducted Pongal Celebration at Jaffna Regional Centre of the Open University of Sri Lanka on 19th of January 2024.It was organized by the students representing all the faculties. It is a celebration to thank Sun God, Mother Earth and various other farm animals that helps farmers to contribute to a bountiful harvest.
