The process of Institutional review (IR)
The process of Institutional Review (IR) was initiated when the Director of the Centre for Quality Assurance (CQA) informed the senate at its 364th meeting, held on 16 October 2018, that the IR of the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) would be carried out in 2019. It was decided to appoint 10 working groups to address the different criteria of assessment. The final grade for the Institutional Review was a “B Grade.”
