Welcome to the Open University Location Tracker App (“OUSLMap”). The App is designed to assist students, faculty, and staff in navigating the university campus by providing real-time location tracking services. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you are agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Open University grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and use the App on your personal device solely for personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to, Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the App to any third party, and Use the App for any unlawful or prohibited activities. The App aims to provide accurate location services. However, factors such as GPS signal strength, network connectivity, and device settings may affect the accuracy. Open University does not guarantee the precision of the location data provided by the App. You agree to use the App responsibly and not to rely solely on it for critical navigation, especially in emergencies. The App should not be used in areas where location tracking is prohibited or in situations where its use could cause harm or distraction. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Open University shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the App. Open University is not responsible for any viruses, malware, or other harmful software that may be introduced to your mobile device as a result of downloading, installing, or using the App. It is your responsibility to ensure that your device has adequate security measures, such as antivirus software, in place. Open University reserves the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting within the App or on the Open University website. You are responsible for checking these Terms periodically for changes. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions about these Terms or the App, please use the “Report your issue” feature available in the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
