Attempting the Final Examinations from overseas – Bachelor of Arts in English & English Language Teaching Programme)

Dear Student,

Students who wish to attempt the Final Examinations of the Bachelor of Arts in English & English Language Teaching Programme from overseas countries are requested to complete the below Google form and submit the application accordingly.

Candidates are required to pay US $50 per subject at the time of applying for the examination. Kindly note that your application will only be processed with the receipt of the above payment. Kindly refer to https://ou.ac.lk/servicesprovidex/  for more information. 

Make sure that you have obtained the eligibility for the subjects requested in the application before submitting. Students who have already sent the overseas examination request via email and other means are also required to submit this application. Kindly note that the application submission deadline will end at 12:00 noon on 2024.03.04, and no application will be entertained after that deadline.

Notice to Students of B.A in English and English Language Teaching (Levels 4,5 and 6)

We are deeply concerned about being unable to begin academic activities, for levels 4,5 and 6 despite numerous interventions from our part with the University IT system. Throughout the past weeks, we have been taking into account reports of incomplete registration by students and mediating on their behalf with the relevant authorities. We have been going beyond our duties as Academic staff members round the clock in attempting to resolve this issue, and we can relate to the frustration and the disappointment felt by you, as students eager to continue your studies.

The Department has been liaising with the various administrative bodies regarding payment of student fees not being visible in the system and we had also requested the students submit certain information such as voucher numbers or bank details to resolve this matter.

We would like to assure all our re-registering students that we constantly remind the relevant authorities to sort out the technical issues related to this matter and to enable you to complete registration. We hope that we will soon be able to notify you about a commencement date as we too, are eagerly waiting to begin day schools.
