New Year Celebration – 2024
We have started New Year (2024) activities of the Ambalantota Study Centre on 02nd January 2024 with religious activities.
This event was held at the Ambalantota Study Centre premises with the participation of staff, resource persons of the Centre and students.
As the pioneer and leading Open and Distance Education institute, we take this opportunity to wish for our students, prospective students for their higher educational activities in 2024.
Student Registration of the First Batch of the Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management (ACHRM)
First day of the student registration of the first batch of the Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management (ACHRM) Programme was held on 16th December 2023 at the Ambalantota Study Centre.
This programme is offered by the Faculty of Management Studies of the OUSL.
We take this opportunity to wish for all registered students for their future academic activities.
Certificate Award Ceremony
The Certificate awarding ceremony was conducted on 05th October 2023 for the students, who have successfully completed the Short Course in Listening and Speech and Short Course in Human Resource Management. There were more than 80 certificate holders participated for this great occasion.
OPEN DAY – 2022
The Open day of the Ambalantota Study Centre of the Open University of Sri Lanka, was held 03rd of September 2022 at the University premises.
This was mainly organized for the students who have completed their G.C.E (A/L) examination and the participants were made aware of the programmes offered by the University, allowing them to explore the university and supporting and guiding them to using the university website. And the student consultation programmes also were held when necessary.
After the awareness programme on the programmes offered by the university, the participants were encouraged to apply for their desired degree programmes offered by the university and the parents of the participants also were informed on how to find the ideal course for their children to pursue their dreams in higher education.
