I am a B.Sc (pharmacy) Hons. graduate from the University of Colombo. I completed my masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences in KULeuven, Belgium.

I was a National Consultant (Essential Drugs and Medical Technology) at the World Health Organization (WHO)  for 4 years.

I have also worked in the National Medicine Regulatory Authority (NMRA) as a Graduate Pharmacist and there was handling evaluation of Drugs and Cosmetics which intends to register in Sri Lanka. I have also worked in the Medical Supplies Division which is the central drug store for government medical supplies.

My career starts in the private sector as a Product Manager at Hemas Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd.

The different sectors and the different areas/exposure have strengthened me as Pharmacy is a multifunctional and dynamic field.

  • organized & carried out “Situational Analysis of Essential Drugs” in 2015 as a National Consultant of Essential Drugs & Medical Technology in World Health Organization (WHO)
