I graduated with B.Sc. Special Degree in Statistics from the University of Peradeniya. After working about two years as a Temporary Lecturer in the Department of Statistics and Computer science at the University of Peradeniya, at the end of the year 2019, I joined The Open University of Sri Lanka as a Temporary Lecturer in Statistics. On March 2020, I appointed as a Lecturer (Probationary) in the Department of Basic Sciences at the OUSL.

Areas of Specialization:

Multivariate Analysis, Regression Analysis, Actuarial Statistics, Big Data Analysis, Data Science

Research interests:

Species diversity analysis associated with environmental factors. Identifying primary factors that affect the Chronic Kidney Disease and Heavy metal analysis in drinking water. Flood frequency analysis. Developing web application tools
