Introduction
Matale Study Center is the latest member of the regional educational hub of the Open University. With commence of its operation in January 2020, the Center wishes to deliver the educational facilities given by the various faculties of the Open University to uplift the tertiary education in people of Matale District in Sri Lanka.
The Center presently developing and started to facilitate the students for admission to all the academic programmes conducted by the Open University. As the first step, it facilitates the examinations and online programmes. Various short courses, certificate programmes are presently conducted at the Center .
