I am Fareed Mohamed Nawastheen, working as a Professor in the Department of Secondary & Tertiary Education, Faculty of Education of the Open University of Sri Lanka. I was from Jaffna, obtained school education in the Jaffna Osmaniya College and did my bachelor degree at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Further, I did my Master in Curriculum & Instruction in the Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2002 and then I did my PhD in Curriculum & Pedagogy in the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia 2014.

I wish to serve my country through my academic and research contributions.
