Activities of the Unit – EDCU

The main activities of the Unit can be categorized into predetermined clusters.

With guidance and directions from the expertise, Entrepreneurship Development and Consultancy Unit (EDCU) facilitates the following services:

• – Facilitate business incubation for budding entrepreneurs and innovators
• – Create a linkage between researchers and entrepreneurs
• – Promote entrepreneurial culture and entrepreneurship education in the Open University of Sri Lanka
• – Engage in income-generating activities for self-sustainability
• – Unlocking the economic potential of all regions to expand the community impact
• – Act as a policy planner for national entrepreneurship development in the long run
