Dear Graduate

Kindly note that the graduates are provided with a new Admission Card and a Vehicle Pass to enter the BMICH along with an OUSL letter dated 22nd August 2022.

You and your guests will be identified by the seat number assigned, and keeping the seat number and the Student Record book with you is compulsory.

Awardees of Postgraduate and First Degrees are provided two Admission Cards for their guests. Awardees of Postgraduate Diploma are provided one Admission Card for their guests to enter the BMICH.

Admission Cards for the guests, previously issued for the Convocation, remain valid for the Graduation Ceremony scheduled to be held on 13th and 14th September 2022. Therefore, it is compulsory to bring Admission Cards to the BMICH.

Those who are unable to produce both the Admission Cards of the Graduate and their Guest or who have not received the Admission Cards should inform the Security Officers of OUSL. You and your guests will be allowed to enter the BMICH after verifying the authenticity of your issue.

Issuing of cloaks

Those who are registered with Regional/Study Centres and, who were unable to collect the cloaks/caps/sash may collect them from respective Centres on 06th September 2022 and 07th September 2022 (only up to 12.00 noon). Graduates can collect the cloaks from the Examinations Division Nawala from 07th September 2022 to 09th September 2022 (9.30 am to 3.00 pm) regardless of their registered Regional/Study Centre.

Kindly note that cloaks/caps/sash are issued only upon payment of Rs.5,000.00 as a refundable deposit as prescribed in the letter.

Graduates who are willing to collect the cloaks at the BMICH are requested to make the refundable deposit in advance as there is no payment point established at the BMICH.
