Ms.Suresha Nilmini Perera has obtained her B.Sc(Hons) degree in Information Technology in September 2009 from the University of Moratuwa and MCS in Computer Science in December 2020 from the UCSC, the University of Colombo. After finishing her undergraduate studies, she was recruited as a Software Engineer at Millennium Information Technologies, Malabe, Sri Lanka. Thereafter she was recruited as a Senior Software Engineer at Gigies (pvt) LTD, Sri Lanka, and promoted to Tech Lead. Then, she joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Open University of Sri Lanka, as a lecturer (on contract).Since 2019, she has been working in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Natural Sciences as a Lecturer (Probationary).

  1. Author of 2 units of the book “Programming in Python”, which was developed by the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Open University of Sri Lanka as part of the collaborative advanced ICT course development project of the Commonwealth of Learning (COL). The same book is used as the course material for EEI3367 – Python Programming at the Open University of Sri Lanka.
  2. Author of 2 units of the book “Introduction to Android” which was developed by the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Open University of Sri Lanka as a part of the collaborative advanced ICT course development project of the Commonwealth of Learning (COL). The same book is used as the course material for EEI3269 – Introduction to Mobile Application Development at the Open University of Sri Lanka.
