I completed B.Sc. Mathematics Special Degree with Second Class Upper Division from University of Kelaniya in 1985. After the graduation I served in Mathematics departments of the same University, University of Ruhuna and University of Sri Jayewardenepura as a Temporary Asst. Lecturer and a Temporary Instructor. I joined OUSL in 1992 and currently I am working as a Senior Lecturer. My Areas of Specialization is Statistics and Water Resource Management is my research interests. I was the Head of the Department from August 2015 to January 2019.
