Laboratory wastewater treatment plant was developed with different filter media with locally available materials such as Montmorillonite (MMT) clay and biochar to removes contaminants from wastewater. It was initiated as a research study and now its treating wastewater generated from laboratories attached to department of civil Engineering. Several publications were published discussing the efficiency of treatment plant. The recycled water also uses for watering garden plants.
