About Conference

The International Conference on Mangrove and Sustainability (ICMS) is a global platform dedicated to promoting the conservation and sustainable management of mangrove ecosystems. It brings together researchers, policymakers, conservationists, and industry leaders to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and explore innovative solutions. ICMS focuses on key areas such as biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, coastal protection, and community engagement. Through interdisciplinary discussions and collaborative initiatives, the conference aims to advance research, influence policy, and develop effective strategies for the long-term sustainability of mangrove ecosystems worldwide.

Guidelines

Full papers should be submitted electronically as Word documents via the MS Conference Management Toolkit (CMT). The full paper should not exceed six pages, including figures, tables, and references. Full Papers must comply with the following:

  • Font: Times New Roman,
  • Spacing: Single-spacing should be applied to all paragraphs. Double spacing should not be used.
  • Headings: Use bold Times New Roman, 10 pt for headings and subheadings. No extra space between the heading and the text.
  • The maximum word count is 1500, including abstract, main text and title
  • Full Paper should not contain any information to identify or trace the authors
  • The title should clearly reflect the content and scope of the paper (14 pt., centre-aligned)
  • Graphical abstract with four key highlights
  • Subtitles: 10 pt., bold, left-aligned
  • Main text: 10 pt., justified
  • Introduction: maximum of three paragraphs
  • Background / Literature review
  • Objectives
  • Methodology
  • Results
  • All the tables and figures should be captioned and cited in-text. When citing a table or a figure in text, refer to it by its number, such as “Table 1” or “Figure 2”
  • Discussion (optional)
  • Conclusion(s): single paragraph
  • Reference (Use “Cite them right 10th edition – Harvard” referencing style), It is highly encouraged to use any reference management tool

  • Kindly adhere closely to the provided guidelines before submitting your full paper/presentation. It is mandatory to follow all stipulated guidelines and adhere to the designated templates. Full Papers/Presentations that do not align with the provided guidelines will be rejected.

Registration

Registration for the International Conference on Mangroves for Sustainability will open on July 1, 2025. Authors are required to pay the registration fee using the provided account details. Registration must be completed via the Google link available on the conference website. The deadline for registration is July 15, 2025.
