Faculty of Engineering Technology Student Academic Conference (FETSAC) is an annual event of the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL). FETSAC first started in the year 2014 with the intention of assisting in creating a relationship between the final year undergraduate students and the cooperative communities by exposing their final-year projects and creative intelligence.

The event is mainly focused on presenting new inventions of undergraduate engineering students and implementing a platform to voice their skills and innovation to the industry through publishing an abstract and presenting in front of an honorable audience.

The theme ‘Engineering Innovative Synergies: Cross-Disciplinary Solutions to Global Challenges.’ leads us a way towards an innovative technological path and we hope to build up a platform for the best-talented minds to reach the outer industrial world enlightening their future.

FETSAC 2024 is scheduled to be held on the 12th of September 2024. A workshop to educate the students on abstract writing and presenting in a conference was held on the 15th of August 2024 as an introductory session to the FETSAC.
