About Conference

The International Conference on Mangroves for Sustainability (ICMS) is a global platform dedicated to promoting the conservation and sustainable management of mangrove ecosystems. It brings together researchers, policymakers, conservationists, and industry leaders to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and explore innovative solutions. ICMS focuses on key areas such as biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, coastal protection, and community engagement. Through interdisciplinary discussions and collaborative initiatives, the conference aims to advance research, influence policy, and develop effective strategies for the long-term sustainability of mangrove ecosystems worldwide.

Guidelines

General Instructions

  • All the abstracts/presentations should be in English.
  • All abstracts/presentation submissions should be done through the CMT Link on our official website page.
  • All submitted abstracts will be checked for plagiarism.
  • All submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed, and only the accepted abstracts will be called to submit a camera-ready copy. All accepted abstracts should be presented in ICMS on the 23rd & 25th of July 2026. Only papers presented will be published in the Proceedings.  
  • Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your submission or any issues while submitting your abstract.

Abstract Guidelines

  • The abstract should report the original research.
  • The abstract must strictly adhere to the prescribed abstract template. Carefully revise the abstract for language and formatting.
  • The abstract should be in one paragraph with a word limit of 300.
  • Do not include subheadings.
  • Acronyms should be written in full the first time they are mentioned in the text, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
  • Always follow SI Units, if any.
  • There shall be no citations or references.
  • Please do not insert a page number for the abstract.
  • Basic format:
  1. Paper size and Orientation: A4 (210 x 297 mm), Portrait. Use only one side.
  2. All margins except left: 25mm. Left margin: 30 mm. Gutter: 00
  3. Font: Times New Roman, 11 points; Line spacing: 1.0, one column of text. 

Presentation Guidelines

  • Each presenter will be allocated a maximum of 10 minutes for oral presentation and 5 minutes to answer questions.
  • Limit your slide presentation (MS PowerPoint) to a maximum of 20 slides, with minimal text to emphasize your central ideas.
  • During the allocated time, reinforce the specific ideas highlighted in your research work, share insights and resources to help participants in their teaching, research and/or planning activities.
  • Please submit the soft copy of your oral presentation and video to the ICMS 2026 committee via Google form available in the official website of the ICMS.

Submissions

  • Kindly adhere closely to the guidelines provided before submitting your abstract/presentation. It is mandatory to follow all stipulated guidelines and adhere to the designated templates. Abstracts/Presentations that do not align with the guidelines provided will be rejected.
  • All submissions should be done through the links provided on the website.

Registration

Registration for the International Conference on Mangroves for Sustainability will open on 15th May, 2026. Authors are required to pay the registration fee using the provided account details. Registration must be completed via the Google link available on the conference website. The deadline for registration is 15th June, 2026.
