ELIGIBILITY
The selection of students to the Masters Degree Programme will be made by the Department of Civil Engineering, in accordance with the following extended eligibility requirements approved by the Senate. A person seeking admission to the ‘Master of Science in Structural Engineering’ programme shall be required to have obtained,
1.1 A four-year degree of Bachelor of Science of Engineering in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or Bachelor of Technology (Engineering) in Civil Engineering from The Open University of Sri Lanka.
AND
1.2 At least the Associate Membership of a recognized professional Engineering Institute in a relevant field with a minimum of one (01) year period of appropriate experience, as approved by the Senate.

*Bridge Design and Construction or *Computer aided Finite Element Applications in Structures *Seismic Design of Structures or *High Performance Concrete
