Introduction
The Mullaithivu Study Center OUSL is serving as a district higher educational platform for the Mullaithivu District. This is one of the latest study center inaugurated in 2015 for the Mullaithivu People in a populated town, Puthukkudiyiruppu. There is a long effort in bringing this center as reality by the OUSL with several helping hands like NGO’s and individuals who desperately found the necessity of a higher educational institute in the Mullaithivu District.
Today this center is managing to provide several courses itself and identifying potential students for the main campus. The center is in the early development phase and now gaining popularity among the students by accessing them via social media platforms. This gives our center the advantage of being the first informant of the courses available at OUSL and providing them the idea of Open and Distance Education (ODL) and its advantages.
The mission of the center is to actively engage with the community by providing the higher educational opportunity via ODL and the ultimate vision is to provide the country with valuable educationists and professionals from the district of Mullaithivu.
