Graduated from, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2010 with Bachelor of Human Biology Special degree. I joined The Open University as a Lecturer (Temporary) in 2021. I am reading for the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. I am interested in Cell culture techniques, drug development from natural sources, and cancer molecular biology.

Areas of Specialization:

Cell culture techniques, western blot, antioxidant and antiproliferative activity analysis, HPLC analysis, DNA/RNA extraction and molecular biology techniques

Research interests:

Cancer molecular biology, cell culture techniques, and drug development with natural herbal extractions
