I’m Dr.K.D.R.L.J.Perera(Ruwandika Perera),  for getting primary education I attended to K/Wewita Maithree Maha Vidyalaya until grade 5. Then, I enrolled to K/Bandaragama National College. After passing the year 5 scholarship examination I enrolled to K/Panadura Balika Maha Vidyalaya and I studied until GCE Advanced Level Examination there.

I was fortunate to enter University of Colombo in year 2001 and I was graduated Bachelor of Education Honours Degree with a first class and two gold medals. Then I started my university academic journey at the Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) in 2007. I have been working as a senior Lecturer at the Department of Secondary and Tertiary Education, Faculty of Education, OUSL, Nawala, Nugegoda since then.  I completed my Master of Education Degree at University of Colombo. I was awarded a scholarship from University of New England, NSW2350,Australia to pursue my PhD in Educational Psychology in 2014.

I have been  appointed as the Head/Department of Special Needs Education, Faculty of Education, OUSL since 04.03.2021.

My teaching philosophy is’ Learn more, facilitate more‘.
